Read all sides of the argument
In an argument, there are two main types of people:
The blindly sure person
The blindly sure person is completely convinced that what they believe is what everyone else should believe, and that there is no possible way that they could be even one bit wrong about an issue. It won’t matter what you say to support your opinion, they will just ignore what you say and state over and over all the things that they believe supports their opinion. This person isn’t interested in the arguments presented for different opinions to their own. This person will only read, watch, or listen to things that support their opinion.
