Facial expressions
If you’re doing a promotional presentation for some event, you might want to have an enthusiastic, animated expression on your face. For an oral on World War II or child abuse, you might choose to have a more sombre expression on your face. Whatever your presentation is about, make sure that you don’t have a bored expression on your face - it is amazing how quickly your expression can transmit to the audience. If you look like you’d rather be somewhere else, the audience will pretty soon be feeling exactly the same way! Other facial expressions that you can use include sympathy, concern, understanding, and anger.
In general, you can’t really go wrong with a nice, natural smile.
