Number your palm cards

This is very important. Many a good presentation has been ruined when the palm cards have been dropped mid-speech, and the speaker has had to pick them up then pause to work out what order they should be in. Sometimes the speaker may put them back in the wrong order, and start talking about something too early or too late, then have to correct themselves in front of everyone. Nothing worse than:

"Dinosaurs were believed to be cold blood... Oh, I’ve already said that, hmmm, let me just sort through my cards for a moment...hmmmm."
