Pros and cons
This is a way to present both sides of a story. There are two ways you can do a pros-and-cons oral. You can do it completely fairly, and try to present both (or all if there are more than two) sides of the issue. Or you can appear to present both sides of the story but, in reality, slickly manoeuvre the audience into agreeing with the side that you support. This can be done with appropriate use of language and some subtle bias. During this sort of oral, I prefer to alternate arguments from each side, rather than presenting all of one side’s arguments and then all of the other side’s in two big chunks. This way, you get more variety and keep the presentation lively.
