Speed

A few things to consider with respect to speed. Don’t speak so fast that you can’t clearly say each word. Speaking slightly more slowly also allows you a tiny bit more thinking time to remember what you’re going to say next and how you’re going to say it. Make sure that you get the overall timing right for your presentation - you want to use most of your allocated time, but leave yourself a bit of a margin. You can go slightly faster through bits that the audience is more familiar with, and slow down a little for more unfamiliar or complex sections.
