This refers to how the ‘last’ sound in two words sounds the same. For instance, bold and sold are two words that rhyme. Other, longer words can rhyme too, since it’s only the last sound in the words that has to match; for instance, otherwise and downsize rhyme. Some types of poetry have no rhyming whatsoever. Others will have some but not all lines rhyming.
