Questioning pronouns

These are pronouns that are used in questioning statements. Take this question for example:

Who is going to do the speech at Bob’s birthday?

‘Who’ is a questioning pronoun, also known as an interrogative pronoun. Some of the other questioning pronouns are what, which, and whom. You can also get combination questioning pronouns, which combine with the word ‘ever’, such as whomever and whatever.
