Connecting clauses

Commas can be used when you’re connecting two or more clauses together. Two independent clauses can be joined together using a comma and a conjunction:

You can also join an independent clause and a dependent clause together:

Tyrannosaurus is most people’s favourite, although Giganotosaurus was bigger.
