Titles
When a title is a proper title of published works, then we usually italicise it. For instance, the most famous newspaper in the world:
The New York Times
Notice that we don’t normally italicise the ‘the’ in the title, but just the words after it. However, if ‘the’ is a necessary part of the title, then we italicise it as well, like in this case.
Some of the titles that you would italicise are television and radio programs, books, pieces of art, newspapers, movies, musical pieces, and published poems.
