Often in a piece of writing you need to give some examples of what you’re talking about. This is where you can use an example style transition.
For example, take the case of African elephants.
Many people are quite ignorant about politics. To illustrate, when I asked 100 people who their national leader was, only 65 knew the answer.
Johnson is not pulling his weight at work. Specifically, he comes in late and leaves early.
