Newspaper articles
Lots of people read newspapers as part of their daily routine. They are an easy, convenient way of keeping yourself updated about the current state of the world - politics, sport, fashion, weather, entertainment, careers, finance, and many other topics. Nowadays, some of this information is shifting from hard-copy newspapers to the Internet, which is fine for those who have a computer at home or work. For instance, every day when I sign into the online chat program MSN Messenger, I get a brief list of news articles.
But newspapers are still very important. Understanding how newspapers work and how some columnists can warp information to suit their own needs is important. One of the best ways to get a grip on newspaper articles is to write an article yourself.
