TV storyboard
Storyboards aren’t just used for movies; many television series make use of them as well. Compared to a movie which is around two hours, a TV show can be as short as half an hour. Since a complete story is usually crammed into that half hour, there are a lot of different shots needed. The shots are generally shorter than in a movie and come quickly one after the other. TV shows that are produced weekly are under severe time constraints. A TV storyboard can be used to quickly get across the all the extra information the actors need to know, stuff which they can’t pick up just from the script.
