Past participles

Once again, past participles were originally verbs that have been converted into adjectives. Take the verb ‘damage’, for instance. It can be converted into a past participle by adding ‘d’ to the end. Here’s a sentence using the past participle of ‘damage’:

If anything in our unit is damaged, we may fail our rental inspection.
