Emphasise
If you want to single out a sentence for extra attention relative to the sentences around it you can use a keyword, like in these sentences:
Indeed, the battleship was queen of the seas for many centuries.
For sure, Jeremy was a talented player.
Of course, there are many other ways we could approach the subject.
Using these words with a comma pauses the sentence for just a little bit and draws the reader’s attention to the fact that you’re making a statement that you especially want the reader to see.
